Description: All students are prepared for tournaments through learning drills, rolling an opponent at their same skill level, and practicing the skills they learned as a beginner. All amateur competitors are encouraged to take part in this class, especially if they plan on competing in the World Championships.

About: The Holmen Program is growing and the logrolling love is being spread throughout Holmen! Classes are fun and perfect for rollers of all ages and experiences.

Beginner/Intermediate
Description: The beginner/intermediate class is for rollers who are either just getting started or not quite ready to take the advanced class. Beginners will learn the basics of logrolling, including how to roll by themselves and with an opponent. To keep class extra-fun and exciting, these rollers will get to play a variety of games every day and take part in an in-class competition at the end of the session.
Ages: 7+
Advanced
Description: The advanced class is offered for competitive kids who compete in several tournaments each year. All rollers in this class are prepared for their competitions by learning drills, rolling with opponents at a similar skill level, and practicing the skills they learned as a beginner. All members of the advanced class must have at least 1.5 full years of logrolling experience and must have competed in at least three tournaments.

Onalaska Waterfront Program

Description: Beginners (Ages 6+) are introduced to the basics of logrolling by leaning how to roll by themselves and with an opponent. Intermediate and advanced rollers work on new, more advanced techniques and will continue to practice what they learned as a beginner.

Description: Any adult (18+) interested in trying logrolling is welcome to take this class. Rollers are introduced to different techniques of logrolling and how to roll against an opponent.
