The University of Wisconsin La Crosse Department of Theatre and Dance proudly presents What the Constitution Means to Me by Heidi Schrek, a hilarious, hopeful and achingly human new play. Performances will show November 14-16 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday matinee on November 17 at 2:00 p.m. in the Frederick Theatre, Morris Hall (1615 State Street, La Crosse).

Direct from Broadway, playwright Heidi Schreck’s boundary-breaking play breathes new life into our Constitution and imagines how it will shape the next generation of Americans. Fifteen-year-old Heidi earned her college tuition by winning Constitutional debate competitions across the United States. In this hopeful new play, she resurrects her teenage self in order to trace the profound relationship between four generations of women and the founding document that shaped their lives.
